How we met !

Quin desiced it was time to visit Steve & Lenny freinds of his for over 10 years. Kerry was freinds with lenny for about 4 years but had never met Quin, she had been told all about Quin and how he is a great man and how funny he is but they said how much of a shame it was that they have not seen him for a long time.

Then out of the blue Quin turned up on there doorstep, Lenny grabbed the phone and called Kerry and told her Quin was there and that we must met !

When I recieved the phone call that Quin was there I was shocked as ive heard a lot about this man but never met him, I was told he had a family and new life so thats why they had not seen him for a long time.

I also had a family but had just been made single, So I thought ive got to met him after hearing so much about him, it was November 2001, I grabbed my coat and boys and went to lennys , as I walked though the door my tummy went over as I saw this tall blonde hair man turn round and look at me and smile, nerves set in and I could feel myself shake as I went to sit next to him at the table,

I just could not believe how good looking he was, Butterflies came in my tummy everytime I looked into his eyes , Steve and Lenny said that was the first time they had every known me to be so quite. to my joy Quin told me how he also had just been made Single again.

After that Quin phoned me often and took me out that was the start of our relasionship and this is the start of our Marriage, Ive never felt so proud to say this is Quin My Husband.

We have it all now Our Beautiful Daughter Lily,My Boys and our lifes to Share together.

And yes I still get the butterflies.

We Finally Married

We decided as we didn't have much money and we never were just to get married anyway and do the best we could with what we had. We looked at the registry offices in kent and saw how picturesque Archbishops Palace was compared with the office blocks of others and decided that Maidstone was the place for us. We visited it to have a look around and saw what a great building it was. It is a historic building and every room has a plaque telling you about the history of that room, even the 'Gents'!

Lenny and Steve on hearing we were getting married offered to buy Kerry the beautiful dress that she wore to the wedding so she could make the day special. My parents gave us some money which without we would not have been able to plan the wedding we had. Kerry was very creative in making the invatations, bouquets button holes and wedding favours herself as they were out of our budget to buy already made. She ended up doing a better job making the items herself.

Lyn, Kerry's mother planned the lovely cake for our wedding a beauitful White love heart. Cathy and Lenny had got bridesmaids dresses and we got our little lily a lovely lilac fairy type dress. All the planning and organization was very stressful and on the night before the wedding there was such a rush to get things finished. It was very late before we got to bed.

The day was beatiful on our wedding, I looked dapper in my suit but nothing compared to my gorgeous Kel as I saw her walking through the doors in her dress.

It was a great wedding but as soon as we were home it was another mad rush for preparing for the reception. Eventual in the early hours of the morning we had finished clearing the mess away. We were both utterly exhausted but pleased that the day had gone so well.

I am happy now that I am married to Kel my special girl. I love you Kel and will be happy to be your husband for ever. XXX
